Nicole and Daniel met in Mexico City
A mutual friend, Cristina Fifer, introduced them when she was visiting the city.

Nicole and Fifer had been friends since high school, but life eventually took them to different countries—Fifer to L.A., Nicole to CDMX. They didn’t get to see each other very often, so when Fifer told Nicole she’d be in town for a wedding, their plans were immediately set in stone.
Fifer asked Nicole for recommendations on things to do in the city, but of course, she didn’t fully trust Nicole’s suggestions—so she took matters into her own hands…

Fifer reached out to Daniel, thinking he’d have better suggestions. He ended up helping her make a reservation at a bar, and she invited him to join the group.
At first, Daniel declined—he had an early flight the next morning. But Cristina had other plans in mind. She mentioned she had a gorgeous friend from Panama who lived in Mexico City and that she wanted to introduce them.

The day came and… Fifer wasn’t answering her phone. She had no data!
Still, Nicole didn’t want to miss the chance to catch up, so she called Vali and asked if she wanted to go out for a drink. She explained that her childhood friend was visiting and that they’d agreed to meet, but it seemed that she was on her way and had lost WiFi.
What’s the worst that could happen? she thought. They’d go out for a bit, and if they couldn’t find her, they’d just head home.
Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined what the best-case scenario would turn into…
They eventually met at the bar
